for growing cannabis autoflowers/strains in different climates and plant limits there should be a length of time where a plant is considered research or trait selective for breeders to plant a section of field full of their test strains say 500 plants(100 of last years seeds for 5 strains). also still be allowed to harvest what little bud and stalk there is on the plant.
autoflower plants really do have some unique traits like reveg, pollination on bottom branches – hermie traits like seed variety plants or regular and sometimes to autoflower at 10+ internodes instead of 7.(have even seen giant varietys)
