someone needs to design a solar/wind powered battery box or cms monitoring system that can heat itself during the winter and cool itself in the summer even for car batterys or other types of deep cycle. how much of wind and solar is needed for a 2×2 box to keep it above freezing for a whole winter and still able to vent when needed. mainly because no one should have to keep battery’s near their houses specially while in heavy use. some of those 5v usb foot warmers would work good likely with usb poweron controll this might even be doable easily from linux
ideal for houses that only use 100 – 200 watts typically of power for lighting and appliances. so a light and a laptop or a laptop + monitor and some good speakers.
