Someone should get a filament extruder and see what it takes to print 100% cannabis sourced plastic for smoking or eating from thats biodegradable after.

with sift hash retail prices only being 10 dollars per gram bulk prices would put that to about 5 or 3 dollars per gram.

I have often noticed different hashes have certain construction material quality’s to them but it needs refining. perhaps someone can do a hackaday type challange where they give the winner 5-10k dollars for making their own filament out of cannabis byproducts that can be smoked so we can “3d print a bong that can smoke itself”

i have a filastruder but no funding for the ammount of cannabis i need for the project so i’ll be waiting until next year to grow again. (was thinking waterbath might be needed if it does not wreck the filament in the process)

this technology could boost 3d print sales more than 200% because of not having to worry about fumes or teflon overheating etc…  even for 3d printed joints alone could create a huge market.

coating it could lead to products that can be worn like helmets and shoes.(possibly even can be eaten or smoked without any ill effects.)

i seen this rolling machine from OCB and they are made from composite construction looked like they have part of hemp construction figured out atleast for house making.

1 thought on “3D printing with cannabis.

  1. we could use this for drone seed bombs to plant forrests worth of trees. was also wondering whats the fastest spreader ( poplar fuzz or those flat helicopter seeds that fly far in the wind.) some trees are also better co2 absorbers and faster at growing. bamboo grows fast but is invasive for nearby cement basements and underground houses.
